Middle Eastern Dance Fundraiser hosted by Aubre Hill for Altadena/Eaton fire

will meet on Saturday February

1st, 2-3:30PM

Hello Dancers

Like us, the recent fires and the disastrous aftermath in our city have probably been on your minds nonstop. But that's not surprising. It seems we all know someone/many who have been affected, whether by losing their homes altogether or by being displaced.

Now it's time for the rest of us to step up.

For Aubre’s part, she will be donating all proceeds from her special class here at Studio A Dance on Saturday February 1 at 2PM, in Magnolia Studio

We chose a local, grass-roots, hands-on non-profit called Friends In Deed (friendsindeedpas.org) as recipients, and here’s why: This Pasadena-based, interfaith organization was first in line to unequivocally offer help to their next door neighbors in Altadena. And, because they have been around for 125 years, FID's command comes with no guesswork — or time wasted — when figuring out how to proceed in dire situations such as this one. In fact, they are on it big time.

As an offering of compassion, your usual cost for a single class will go toward this catastrophic event. Still, because of the urgency and costs involved, we hope you'll consider a larger donation. If possible, let's make this gathering your priciest class ever!

P.S. Even if you are unable to attend (and we hope you will), feel free to donate.
