the
class (Tuesdays 6:15-7:15PM): In a unique class based on
her years as a professional dancer, Constance combines a thorough
mat Pilates workout followed by a relaxing stretch. Students leave
with an invigorated sense of well-being and balance, centered in
a strengthened core and newfound flexibility.
about
Constance: Constance is a BASI Pilates(tm) Certified Instructor
who, in the
tradition of George Balanchine and Martha Graham, incorporated Pilates
into her dance training regimen. Her passion for dance began when
she
was 13, after taking her first Pilates class from a dancer with
the New
York City Ballet. She went on to earn her BFA from the North Carolina
School of the Arts, followed by performances with the American Ballet
Theatre, and many others throughout Europe and Asia, to
choreography for MTV and film in Los Angeles and internationally.
Now a
noted singer-songwriter, her love of dance and movement remain a
vital
part of her artistic soul.
* Although the class is donation
and we won't turn away anyone,we
suggest a minimum $12 donation so that expenses for the studio rental
and usage of the electricity and heat are covered. Thank you.
