Beginning Social Dance

In this ongoing Beginning Social Dance, Larisa covers dances like the Foxtrot, Swing, Rumba, and Salsa. Proper technique and good partnership are addressed as this is the basis and only form of communication between the two dancers. Secondly, we will take these elements and form them into more interesting patterns. In this way, the elements will be blended together into more of a flowing dance. The student, at this point, will start to feel like the dancing is more musical and connected. The type of dance according to music will become more recognizable and the student will feel like he or she has lots of options for any dancing situation.

Fee per 4-weeks: $144 (per couple). Singles: $72
One time drop in: $20 per person

Larisa Bates is an award winning ballroom dancer. She has won over 100 first place awards at such competitions as the Emerald Ball and the Embassy Ball in Los Angeles, California. She has appeared in film and tv for the likes of Warner Bros, VH1, MTV, ABC, and BBC.
Larisa also teaches privately and offers dance routines for your wedding!
